Referrals & Fees
Payment is due on the day of your appointment. If you have an eligible referral from your GP or specialist, your Medicare rebate can be processed electronically following your appointment and deposited directly into your nominated bank account.
$143.45 gap fee per session
Medicare Referrals
Standard session (50 min) upfront fee is $245.00
Medicare rebate you receive back is $101.55
The total gap fee you pay per session is $143.45
Eligible Mental Health Treatment Plans attract a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per year.
Eligible Eating Disorder Management Plans attract a Medicare rebate of up to 40 sessions per year.

Self-Referrals
You don’t need a referral to access therapy at Grounded. Self-referrals are welcome, allowing you to book an appointment directly without seeing a GP or specialist first.
If you have private health Extras cover that includes psychology, you may be able to claim a rebate for your appointment through your insurance. Please check with your health fund to confirm your level of cover and the rebate available to you.
Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for appointments accessed via self-referral or private health insurance.

Pre-Surgery Assessment

Preoperative psychological evaluation for cosmetic or weight-loss surgery.
This fee includes a 90 min assessment session and psychological report
A pre-surgery psychological assessment helps ensure you are emotionally and psychologically prepared for the changes that come with surgery. Together, we'll explore your relationship with your body, food, eating patterns, emotional wellbeing, coping strategies, and any factors that may affect your recovery and long-term success. The assessment isn't about passing or failing, it's about understanding your individual needs and ensuring you have the right support to achieve a positive outcome.

Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is available for psychologists seeking thoughtful, collaborative and evidence-informed support in their clinical practice.
As a Psychology Board-approved supervisor with extensive experience across mental health and eating disorder services, I offer both regular supervision and once-off sessions tailored to your individual needs, whether you’re working towards developing skills in eating disorders, navigating a complex clinical presentation, or looking for a space to reflect on your practice.

Referrals can be made securely and directly via our online referral form. The form allows you to provide relevant clinical information and upload a referral letter and supporting care plans

Cancellation Policy
Life happens, and sometimes you can’t make your scheduled appointment. I understand that life can be unpredictable, and unexpected circumstances do arise.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice wherever possible.
50% of the full fee of your appointment will be charged in instances in which less than 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation is given. Appointments that are missed without prior notice (no-shows) will incur the full session fee.
As Medicare rebates are only available for appointments that are attended, cancellation and non-attendance fees cannot be claimed through Medicare and are therefore payable in full.
Any outstanding cancellation or non-attendance fees will need to be settled before future appointments can be confirmed.
